Learning

It's been a while since we've posted any photos - Calla has been keeping us busy! Ever since we got back from our trip, she has been waking often at night, feeding frequently and crying a fair bit. We'd think we had a newborn on our hands again if it wasn't for all the amazing new developments she's making.

Over the last couple weeks she's been honing her many skills: rolling over (tummy to her back, provided she's not wearing her bulky cloth nappy!), sitting propped up, grabbing things and putting them in her mouth, dropping things out of her chair and stroller, "standing", and making a huge variety of coos, squeals, and shrieks. Fun for all...even her over-tired parents...

When Granny Basia was visiting a few weeks ago, Calla decided to impress her by picking her head up off the floor (Calla's head, that is, not Granny's...). Ever since, tummy time has been much more fun!

Being propped up is better though - easier to see the world and easier to play with toys.

Standing is best of all!
