Back to sleep no more

Minor, curious development...

Although Calla has been happily and enthusiastically rolling over for quite some time now, she has never moved much in her crib. In fact, she has deviated very little from her original "stick 'em up" position adopted early on. But lately, she's taken to sleeping on her side sometimes (especially if she's in the big bed with mama and papa...she knows very well where to find the milk!).

Today, I was very much surprised to see her greeting me as she woke up from her afternoon nap:



About moving in her crib - although she didn't roll around much, she's had a serious Thumper routine (try her core/abs workout - lie on your back, lift your legs straight up to ninety degrees, let them fall back down with a loud thud, repeat 400 times or until you fall asleep) . Do other babies do this?
